Mozarts Bio
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27th, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. During Mozart's youth, his family made several European journeys in which he and his sister Nannerl performed as child prodigies. By the age of 16, Mozart had composed many compositions. Mozart wrote many piano pieces such as: Sonata for Keyboard Four-hands in D major, K. 381 / 123a,Sonata for Keyboard Four-hands in B-flat major, K. 358 / 186c,Sonata for Keyboard Four-hands in F major, K. 497,and Sonata for Keyboard Four-hands in C major. He wrote his first opera, Mitridate Re di Ponto, in 1770 when he was only 14 years old. There is a rare deformity of the ear known as ‘Mozart ear’, though whether Mozart himself suffered from it has long been debated. Mozart was considered a hero in his field for being such a wonderful musician. Mozart died in 1791.
